Why BT?
BT Business Broadband Voice offers BT Business Broadband customers the ability to make and receive calls over their broadband line (using Voice over IP technology). Using their broadband connection like this means they create up to two additional ‘virtual’ phone lines without installing extra physical lines. All customers need to do to configure the service is plug a traditional phone into the voice port on their broadband router and they can make and receive calls just as they would through a conventional phone line.
There are two Broadband Voice customer options available to BT Business Broadband customers only. Both are ideal solutions to enable customers to add an additional virtual phone line, whether it’s for outbound calls, faxing or simply to free up their main number for those important business calls. Up to two additional ‘virtual phone lines’ can be added per broadband connection (package costs would apply twice).
For just £19.99 a month, customers can benefit from:
Alternatively, for just £5 per month, customers can have an additional Broadband Voice line but, instead of getting unlimited Local and National UK calls, would have to pay for these as follows:
Customers can now choose to have a local number associated with their 056 number for BT Broadband Voice. Called Geographic Numbering, it allows customers to choose a number that starts with an area code related to a geographic location in the UK. A customer based in London, for example, can choose a Manchester number, giving them a perceived ‘local presence’ that people could dial in to. This costs just £2.99 per month (ex VAT).
BT Business Broadband Voice customers can now benefit from BT Office Communicator as well, at no extra charge - adding a whole new range of capabilities to their account.
It effectively transforms your PC into a multi-featured phone, over which you can make and receive calls, Instant Message, text and make video calls. Save money with free texts, instant messages and video calls, free calls to other Office Communicator users (PC to PC) and by using your Broadband Voice call rates wherever you are.

SDSL (Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a premium broadband service for businesses with high data or bandwidth requirements. This is achieved by an Internet connection that operates at the same rate for both downloads and uploads, and that is not only fast, but also efficient and economical.
SDSL is ideal for businesses that need to: send large data files; speed up the transmission of data; connect sites together using IPSec VPNs; host their own web, mail or extranet servers; give teleworkers a fast and efficient connection to company servers; or enhance video conferencing, video streaming or eLearning facilities.
NB: Broadband SDSL circuits are carried on a new copper wire that can’t support PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).

BT Business One Plan Plus is a service based on the cost-effective BT One Plan. This means calls between work colleagues can be made at no extra cost. It retains the One Plan benefits of capped calls and one simplified discounted bill for all BT communication costs.
The main selling point for One Plan Plus is there are no extra call charges for intra-business calls from/to BT Mobile tariffs, Broadband Voice and other fixed numbers - for calls up to an hour.
A minimum term contract starts at 24 months with a minimum annual commitment of £500. One Plan Plus customers must purchase two or more qualifying services, one of which must be a fixed line and one or more products from the BTBroadband or BT Mobile portfolio. N.B. customers will get most benefit from One Plan Plus if they bring fixed and mobile into the plan as calls they make across all their business will benefit from no call charges.
Current qualifying services and exclusions
Bespoke Mobile contracts cannot be included in the BT Business One Plan Plus intra-business calling circle and calls to and from these mobiles will be at underlying package rates. However, spend on these contracts will be contributory towards the commitment, but not eligible for reward.
BT Business Broadband Voice and Voice Plus (port rental, flat top tariff and calls) and spend on many VAS products is also eligible and contributory. Additionally, switch maintenance spend and BT Meet Me Conferencing spend can also contribute towards a customer’s commitment, and is eligible for the annual 5% reward.
BT Business Mobile Broadband standard tariff is a qualifying product, and spend is eligible and contributory. BT Business Mobile Broadband special offer is not a qualifying product, however spend is contributory and may be eligible subject to Mobile reward rules.
All Mobile spend on the same contract has to follow the same rule – ie it can either be eligible or non-eligible – but not a mixture of both.
